So, if your new to the whole Pitch Club thing here are a few things you should know;

1. Who can Pitch? Anyone with an idea and the willingness to do so. There are three rounds, the first being a 90 second Pitch where you deliver your idea to the crowd as you would if you met someone in an elevator. No slides, just a clock ticking away, and you needing to convince them that they need to vote you into the next round to tell them more. No questions during this round.

2. NDA’s and Confidentiality. If you think your idea is easy to steal and you have little else, we would suggest you get advice. Our view is that if its that ‘thin’its not a good opportunity, good opportunities can be protected. We don’t sign NDA’s, this is a fast a and friendly event that results in feedback and questions. Make sure you have the thinking done.

3. Second/third rounds, this is here you get to give them more information and respond to questions.

4. We have fun with this, you should to. Most of the real business is done after during the networking. We’ve seen chequebooks come out.
